Facilities Director

The purpose of the position is to provide a safe, secure and attractive facilities and grounds and to facilitate the development of future additions and improvements to the campus.  Provide a leadership and oversight to the maintenance of the facility buildings, campus grounds and the ministries that need to maintain their functionality and attraction.

Overview of Responsiblities and Duties:

1. To schedule, oversee and assist with the cleaning, repairs and maintenance to the buildings, furnishings, equipment including landscaping of campus grounds.
2. To provide the necessary spiritual, administrative and visionary leadership to select, develop, equip and deploy ministry partners to minister and serve their church by helping to maintain the campus and grounds God has provided.
3. Supervises and provides leadership and direction to the maintenance staff whether paid or volunteer and any and all plant development functions.
4. Provides ongoing development of Emergency Action Plan (EAP) programs/training for church staff and associated ministry operations, including maintaining of program manual. Assures church’s compliance with OSHA regulations, including partnering with Human Resources in any ongoing OSHA training.
5. Recruits, trains, supervises and evaluates all staff and ministry partners before use of any and all vehicles and machinery owned and operated by church.
6. Responsible for the maintaining and repairs of any and all equipment located in or on campus buildings and grounds.
7. Schedules and ensures that cleaning and maintenance of rooms and campus grounds are done properly and are completed on time.
8. Establishes, maintains and abides by an annual budget for the facilities.
9. Purchases and provides facility equipment and supplies as needed and develops recommendations for its acquisition.
10. Responsible for overall security of the church campus and buildings.
11. Provides supervision and oversight to the Café ministry, including staff and volunteers, as well as oversees the food handlers licensing program for church and Café
