Job Description:

Salem Media Group in Tampa, FL is looking for a self-motivated, organized, professional individual to join our team. The ideal candidate to fill this part-time position will be responsible for operating in-studio digital boards and other sundry producer roles.

Responsibilities

  • Operates a tight board for live local programs
  • Monitors satellite delivered syndicated programming
  • Provides voice work for commercials and promos on occasion
  • Assists with other production as needed and sometimes with fluctuating schedules

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is highly motivated to fulfill this position, and be dependable, energetic, and display professionalism and enthusiasm when representing the company.
  • Experience with audio or video editing software is beneficial, as well as prior experience working with digital audio control boards, I.P. Codecs, XDS and Wegener Satellite Receivers. Knowledge/familiarity with Automation Systems is a plus.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have basic computer skills, typing capability is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience preferred but not required
