About Rio Revolution Church

Pastor Pacer and Connie Hepperly dreamed of planting a church with a simple goal: to help people connect with God to reach their full potential. It all started at Restoration International Outreach (RIO Central in Maryville, Tennessee), where it was determined that a local church plant in Blount County in Maryville, Tennessee, was necessary to promote growth. With little more than a handful of people – 39 to be exact – the team committed to transforming their dream into reality. The first service was held on January 7, 2007, at Heritage High School in Maryville. Revolution Church focused on the hopeless and hurting from the beginning through outreach and missions. Revolution Church planted ten churches in their first year, suppressing the need to build their own church facility and giving nearly 20% of their income to missions.

2012-2016

Since then, the church has grown in every measurable way. The current campus at 3419 E Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville was completed in the fall of 2012 and seats just over 1100 people. In 2015, an education wing, a pavilion, and a walking trail were added. Also, in 2015, we planted our first international Revolution Church in Chile. In 2016, we planted another international Revolution Church in Argentina.

2019

As a result of the growth, we have recently launched multi-services and now provide live stream services to our Online Campus. In July 2019, we launched our new campus in the Greenback community. The new campus, Revolution 411 Campus, is everything that the Broadcast campus is, including live worship and a simulcast sermon message.

NOW- We are Church on Purpose

Our focus is on people in our local community in Blount County. Our signature annual event, Helping Hands, is our local outreach project to assist children and families in Blount County return to school by providing tennis shoes, backpacks, and supplies. Last year, through Helping Hands, the church invested over $135,000 into the community to help needy children. In addition to Helping Hands, we also have numerous events and activities that focus on helping those in our community – Overcomers Cancer Support Group, Celebrate Recovery, Second Chance Prom Ministry, Special Needs Ministry, and money management, in addition to conferences, meetings, and training. Revolution Church is a beautiful place to Connect. Grow. Serve.
