Youth Director

The Youth Director is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. The
individual in this role will work with Student Pastor to develop, implement, and oversee a
comprehensive youth ministry program that engages, disciples, and empowers young
people in our church and community.

Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and lead weekly youth group meetings, Bible studies, and small
group discussions that are engaging, relevant, and spiritually nurturing.
Help develop and implement with Student Pastor age-appropriate curriculum for
youth ministry programs, including lessons, activities, and discussions that
promote spiritual growth and biblical understanding.
Collaborate with the Student Pastor to plan and execute special events, such as
retreats, mission trips, service projects, and outreach initiatives that foster
community, discipleship, and spiritual formation among youth.
Provide care and mentorship to students, offering guidance, support, and prayer as
they navigate the challenges of adolescence and grow in their faith.
Build and maintain positive relationships with youth, parents, and volunteers,
serving as a role model and demonstrating Christian character and leadership.
Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising youth ministry volunteers, ensuring
they are equipped and empowered to serve effectively in their roles.
Maintain regular communication with parents, keeping them informed about youth
ministry programs, events, and opportunities for involvement.
Utilize social media and other digital platforms to engage youth, promote ministry
programs, and foster community among participants.
Participate in regular youth ministry meetings, contribute to the overall vision and
strategy of the church, and collaborate with other ministry leaders to ensure
integration and alignment of youth ministry with the broader church mission.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Student Pastor or church leadership,
supporting the overall goals and objectives of the youth ministry and the church as
a whole.

Proven leader and vision caster who will guide the CSM team of leaders and
volunteers by casting vision, training and deploying.
Ability to work positively in a team environment.
