Job Description:

The Music Ministry Leader is a 10 to 12-hour-a-week position tasked with planning, preparing for, and leading a weekly worship service.

Qualifications

This position requires a testimony of a life that trusts in and walks with Jesus Christ and who can lead with humility and express love for the church.  A person in this position must have experience planning, preparing, and leading worship services, as well as the ability to work with, inspire, and lead a variety of musicians.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Pastor to select songs appropriate for each service.
  • Distribute music to instrumentalists and vocalists each week.
  • Schedule volunteer vocalists and instrumentalists through Planning Center.
  • Weekly mid-week rehearsal (60-minutes).
  • Weekly Sunday morning worship service (60-minute rehearsal at 8 am and 60-minute service at 10:30 am)
  • Work with AV supervisor regarding CCLI, Song Select, slides, and Pro Presenter.
