Group Publishing is a leading interdenominational Christian publisher and creator of Easy VBS, the most widely used Vacation Bible School program in the world. Group is launching Christian summer day camps in 2019 for school-aged children in various locations across Colorado.
This year-round position will develop, organize, oversee, and implement summer days camps in Colorado, and assist in expanding the program to other states. As the Regional Manager, you will be the go-to person for day camps…allowing you to help shape the program from the beginning. Best of all, your work will have real importance as you provide fun, meaningful and memorable experiences that help kids grow in their Christian faith.
Responsibilities Include:
• Growing the program
• Hiring and supervising seasonal staff
• Ensuring compliance with Colorado state daycare regulations
• Developing and executing training for staff
• Participating in marketing activities
• Building and managing a budget
• Meeting revenue goals
• Building relationships and executing contracts with host facilities
• Establishing policy and procedures
We are looking for a mature servant-leader with good judgement, decisiveness, and good communication and organized. Candidate must be a lifelong learner, and someone who cares about faith development in kids.
Requirements:
• A 4-year college degree in early childhood education, recreation, or human services; or, 3 or more years in care and supervision of school-aged children
• Minimum of 3 years leading and supervising people
• Criminal background check
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
