Project Manager

Responsibilities

Project manager oversees two landscaping project crews during the growing season and is responsible for installation and maintenance work during the summer. These landscaping projects may include hardscape or softscape installations, planting of trees or shrubs, mulch installations, clean ups, turf installations from seed or sod, aeration, organic fertilizer applications, weeding, etc.During the winter months, the project manager oversees a team (approximately ten routes) responsible for snow removal and ice management. Project manager is responsible to meet with clients, submit job proposals, schedule, oversee and report on work done. It is a hands on position.

We are looking for someone with…

• At least two years landscaping experience
• At least two years of management experience
• Ability to work efficiently, effectively and independently
• Honesty, integrity, trustworthiness (essential)
• Good physical condition for strenuous outdoor work
• Ability to take instructions/teachability
• Willingness/desire to work hard in the great outdoors!
• Good mechanical skills (preferred - not essential)
• Computer competance for filling out online reports and creating proposals
• Good management/team leadership abilities
• Good people skills for dealing with clients and presenting work estimates
• Willingness to make a two year commitment
• Someone with own transportation (a vehicle capable of pulling a trailer would be helpful but not mandatory)
• Legal U.S. work status
