Construction Coordinator

Position Description

  • All aspects involved in a Mission Construction Project

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare construction project requirements and associated costs
  • Coordinate the purchase of building supplies, materials and equipment
  • Coordinate the loading and shipping of containers, both internationally and domestically
  • Maintain comprehensive construction project documentation, plans, reports and expenses
  • Participate on construction projects, site-surveys and buy-outs
  • Assist with general office responsibilities, attend training seminars and fundraisers as requested and directed by the Executive Director

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge and experience and of general building construction
  • Experience in a construction or project management position
  • Ability to read and understand building plans
  • Drafting and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
