Construction Coordinator

Position Description
- All aspects involved in a Mission Construction Project
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction project requirements and associated costs
- Coordinate the purchase of building supplies, materials and equipment
- Coordinate the loading and shipping of containers, both internationally and domestically
- Maintain comprehensive construction project documentation, plans, reports and expenses
- Participate on construction projects, site-surveys and buy-outs
- Assist with general office responsibilities, attend training seminars and fundraisers as requested and directed by the Executive Director
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and experience and of general building construction
- Experience in a construction or project management position
- Ability to read and understand building plans
- Drafting and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
