The role of the Paramus Multisite Children’s Ministry Coordinator is to partner with the parents to inspire children to discover and grow in their lives with God and to learn, live, and lead as authentic followers of Jesus Christ and to go live the life
God dreamed for them. This is a part-time position requiring the following responsibilities and qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Create and communicate volunteer schedule and weekly curriculum
- Ensure program is operating safely and effectively
- Assure that Classrooms and Registration are set up and prepared, curriculum and supplies are set-up for activities
- Ensure that Curriculum is delivered and organized monthly for teachers
- Assist in planning and participate in Teacher Training, i.e. CPR and LIFE Team
- Coordinate with Campus Pastor on child dedications
- Event Planning
- Building parent partnership to assist with their children growing spiritually, providing resources and tools
- Works in collaboration with TLCC leadership and Main Campus Children’s Ministry Co-Directors to create an annual calendar of events & services, marketing & communications plans, and annual budgets
- Inventory items for reorder
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Children’s Ministry and education
- Experience working with children a plus
- Capacity to recruit, sustain, lead and develop a strong volunteer culture
- Ability to listen to and communicate with people of all ages
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Ability to delegate responsibility and to follow up to complete tasks
