The Falls Church Anglican is seeking a full time Coordinator to develop and oversee implementation of quality, effective methods for adult discipleship and spiritual formation and Young Adults ministries. He or she will assemble, lead, and direct ministry teams of staff, parishioners, volunteers, and other partners to achieve TFCA and departmental objectives and goals.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to shape and drive a strategic and effective framework for effective adult education and formation through education, mentoring, events, and other approaches. He or she will be theologically mature and have demonstrated
success within a (preferably, but not required, Anglican) church environment.
The ideal candidate will be well versed in the best practices of multi-generational discipleship ministry and will have a passion to see adults of all ages grow and thrive in their Christian faith. He or she will have a track record of multiplying ministry through developing a network of effective lay leaders, mentors, and teachers. He or she will be able to work effectively with minimal administrative support. He or she will be committed to a biblically orthodox Christian faith and have a love for seeing people grow in their faith as disciples of Jesus Christ, a passion for Young Adult Discipleship, and in moving ministry forward, producing scripturally grounded, faith-sharing images of Christ, energized by a challenging position and a desire to see the gospel spread in our community.
