Crosspoint Church is a rapidly-growing, multi-ethnic, multi-campus church located in central Virginia (Lynchburg). Crosspoint was restarted 12 years ago, with about 40 people and has grown to 800 – 1000 under the leadership of John Williamson. Crosspoint is looking for a worship leader - pastor. The worship leader must be a Jesus-centered disciple. As the worship leader for this community, this person must have a deep biblical knowledge and a good understanding of the worship of the Church. The worship leader would lead our four Timberlake Campus weekend services, organize rehearsals for band and singers, oversee the entire worship ministry, provide care and discipleship for the 60-75 worship ministry volunteers, and report directly to the lead pastor. We are seeking a worship leader who can create worship sets with selections from Israel Houghton, Fred Hammond, Jeremy Camp, Hillsong, United, Gateway Worship, BJ Putnam, etc. The key is "diverse".
