About:

Crossroads Bible Church (CBC), founded in 1962 with just seven families, has grown into a thriving community of over 2,000 weekly attendees. An independent Bible church, Crossroads is passionate about worshipping and serving God alongside people of diverse backgrounds and walks of life.

CBC is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Bellevue, Washington.  While surrounded by magnificent natural beauty, Bellevue is also just minutes away from Seattle.  Bellevue has an ever increasing diverse population (fifth largest city in Washington), with thousands of families working for well-known employers such as Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing and Starbucks.

An elder-led church heavily invested in local and global missions, Crossroads Bible Church is more than a local body of believers; it is a Christ-centered family.  For the past 35 years, Jerry Mitchell has been the senior pastor of CBC, and has helped steward the church’s reputation as a place where God’s Word will be taught with conviction and relevancy, and where people of all ages can find life-giving relationships.  CBC enjoys a dynamic children’s and student ministry, along with thriving relational communities in adult small groups, men’s and women’s ministry.

Crossroads Bible Church is committed to church planting and strategic partnerships.  CBC essentially operates as an independent evangelical church but is affiliated with the Baptist General Conference now known as Converge.  Converge is a resource and does not impact how CBC operates.

Vision: Building a community to change the world.

Our vision statement is in response to the Great Commission and to the Great Commandment.  We hold the conviction that the Bible is the foundation of truth, and the local church is central to God’s plan to change the world with the gospel.

We value:

Connecting…to Jesus Christ, to CBC, and to one another.

Equipping…in character, in content, and in competence.

Serving…by using spiritual gifts, by supporting the ministry, and by loving one another.

Outreach…in personal evangelism, in local partnerships, and in global missions.

Worshipping our great God!
