Children's Church Coordinator

Zion Church continues to be a “seeker sensitive” church where anyone would feel comfortable. It is the mission of Zion Church to help people MEET GOD, (clear, compact message and a contemporary worship experience), GROW CLOSER TO HIM (by doing life together through small group community) & SERVE HIM (Our desire is for the community and world to know that we’re aware, we care and we’re there).

The Woodbridge Children’s Coordinator supports the Woodbridge Lead Pastor by overseeing the Children’s Church experience on the Zion Woodbridge Campus. In addition, he/she provides support in the equipment of parents as they train their children to love Jesus and love like Jesus.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)

• Oversees all aspects of Children’s Church Service from setup, to implementation, and breakdown.

• Oversees the organizational structure of the Children’s Church.

• Trains and empowers all Children’s Church volunteers and staff.

• Casts ministry vision and builds relationships with all families in the previously identified age range.

• Manages the Children’s Church budget.

• Steers the Children’s Church on a Zion Campus.

• Works with lead pastor in developing ways to cultivate family ministry as an integral and intentional part

  of the church campus. Ie., (family devotionals, family services, etc)

Qualifications

• Exemplary Character

• Strong Communication Skills proficiency in
• MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

• Background in Theater

• Basic Understanding of Child Development
• Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills
• Charismatic
• Well versed in biblical knowledge
