We are: Established: For 132 years Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina (BCH) have been sharing hope and changing the lives of children, adults, and families in need. Relevant: Unfortunately, the need is great. Precious children come to us from dire situations of abuse, neglect, and abandonment... often never having heard the words, "I love you." Flexible: We've stayed true to our founding principles while adding ministries and services to meet the changing needs of today's families. Purposeful: We follow Biblical principles in conjunction with Cornell University's acclaimed "C.A.R.E." (Children And Residential Experiences) model of service. Passionate: We are people from all walks of life brought together by a desire to "live and breathe" our mission statement: "To provide the highest quality of Christian services to children, adults, and families in a caring culture of measurable excellence!" Supportive: As co-laborers, our direct care, support, and administrative staff are focused on serving children who long for love and a warm meal, clean bed, and a safe place to be a child. Dedicated: Our average employee has been with us for 8+ years! Accountable: We focus on quality, holding ourselves accountable to God, each other, and those we serve, thereby achieving exceptionally high results as measured by our stakeholders, licensing agencies, and the Council On Accreditation (COA). Effective: Through Christ and with the help of our supporters, last year we were able to reach over 21,000 individuals in 22 locations serving all 100 counties of North Carolina.
