Entry Level – Mobilization and Talent Acquisition Coach

Position Summary

East-West is looking for a qualified candidate who aligns with our employee culture and will be proactive in searching for the right talent to join the staff at East-West. This person may have spent time recruiting and head-hunting at a recruiting firm and has participated in overseas mission experiences.

The Associate Director - Mobilization and Talent Acquisition Coach is responsible for recruiting qualified candidates and contacts through multiple recruiting channels including but not limited to events, networking, and online recruitment. They will be responsible to proactively recruit for Field, Operations, Development and Internship positions. To be successful in this position, the AD will need to provide effective and timely outreach and follow-up with potential candidates, which will include communication by phone, mail, social media and email.

This position will be assigned by the supervisor certain positions to manage and oversee the execution of the recruitment and recruitment strategies for those positions. This will include creating and getting approved the open positions recruitment strategy, managing all recruiting efforts for the open position, interviewing and shepherding candidates through the interview process and reporting stats to the supervisor and hiring manager’s on a weekly basis.

This position will also assist in onboarding new hires and will provide assistance to the planning and execution of New Hire Orientation. The AD will perform duties in line with East-West policies and federal and state employment laws and will be a productive and loyal team member of the Missionary Mobilization and Talent Acquisition Team and contribute to team administrative duties, projects and responsibilities.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

• Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 1 year recruiting/head-hunting experience, required  
• Overseas mission experiences, highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and promote employment and volunteer opportunities well
• Proven follow-up skills
• Detail-Oriented
• Ability to travel overseas to a hot and hard place at least once a year (will need to raise support for STMTs)
• Ability to travel domestically
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong emotional intelligence
• Prone to seek and carry out additional responsibilities
• Excited to contribute to the betterment of the team
• Strong spiritual maturity
