Job Description:

I. Purpose Statement: • To lead teams to create a ministry experience (purple cow effect) that models a “kids crusade” event, values family, and disciple’s children.

 

II. Prerequisities:

• Must be a born again Christian

• Must have a minimum 3 years experience in overseeing a 200-300 children ministry

• Must have experience with church management software – (Planning Center Online required - Fellowship One preferred)

• Must have experience with Church of the Highlands - Growth Track

• Experience with Orange Curriculum is preferred

 

III. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage the administration and organizational flow of TAB Kids

• Provide pastoral guidance, leadership, coaching and professional development to campus level TAB Kids leaders

• Establish and implement policies & safety protocols for services and events

• Strategize and collaborate with student ministry to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships between children and students (generational connection)

• Evaluate TAB Kids, develop courses of action and make decisions with sound judgment

• Plan and schedule activities for children’s involvement in a variety of ministry functions

• Provide pastoral care to the TAB Kids (newborn – 5th grade)

• Assist in the assimilation of new guest and follow up of absentees through church management software

• Assimilate new volunteers onto TAB Kids Teams through the process of TAB Intro

• Oversee the recruitment and training of all TAB Kids leaders

• Prepare ministry reports for staff meetings (attendance reports, First time guest follow-up reports)

• Lead regular leadership meetings

• Complete an Evaluation Support Form
