Berea, located in Hebron, New Hampshire, is searching for a qualified individual who follows hard after God and is seeking to serve Him in a regional, para-church ministry with multiple sites and several ministry arms. Because of our intentional programming and high partnership values with the Church, Berea’s year-round programs continue to attract increasing numbers of attendees from around the Northeast. In the last 12 months we have served 500 churches and over 10,000 individuals with many more in our ecosystem.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organized person who enjoys serving others by helping to implement quality and intentional programs. This is a senior level position which will oversee multiple full time employees and report directly to the President. This a key hire for us as we expand our ministry in many different ways. This person needs to be disciplined, dependable, teachable, good with people, have strong administrative skills, and be willing to grow. There is considerable room for professional growth for a person who is motivated, has aspirations of being used by God in great ways, and wants to have tremendous impact for the Kingdom. A passion for Jesus Christ and His Church is required. This person would be working with and leading a team of creative and passionate people who will reach people of all ages. Berea was founded in 1945 by 15 churches from the Plymouth Brethren movement. Today, Berea serves over 680 churches and 10,000 people annually. Berea’s mission is to create and continuously develop programs which appeal to children, teens, adults and families such that they respond to the message of Jesus Christ within the context of meaningful relationships and memorable experiences. There are several different branches to this endeavor. Berea’s primary ministry is to students through both summer and winter camp programs. Greenhouse is a ministry of Berea, which creates and curates training environments to help churches thrive. These one-day, off-site training events are another way that we serve and resource New England churches. In addition to our ministry with students, Berea also offers programming for the whole family including Family Camp in August, Mother-Daughter and Father-Son Retreats in the early summer, and Women’s Retreat and Man Camp events in the fall. In short, our goal is to change lives for Jesus Christ. We’re partnering for life transformation by encountering Christ together and advancing the church.
