Role Overview:
The Technical Coordinator is the lead visionary for all technological aspects of ministry at Salem Church, and serves as the primary developer of high-capacity leaders who execute the purpose, mission, and vision of Salem Church in the Technology Ministry context. This role encompasses thorough, creative, meaningful oversight in the areas of leadership, discipleship, and administration of Technology Teams within the scope of the Senior Pastor's vision.

Role & Responsibilities:
The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for oversight, operation, staff and volunteer recruitment/training and vision casting for all technical aspects of production during Sunday Services, SalemKids, SalemStudents, and Special Events. This person must develop ministry plan and budget for for all technological aspects of Salem Church ministry as well as engage in creative planning with Executive and Creative Teams. He or she must prepare and operate equipment for all live events as well as recruit, train, and schedule staff and volunteer teams to carry out their responsibilities with excellence.
Proficiencies:
(Please note, some of these are required while others are preferred. Please specify your level of proficiency in each area.)
Audio Engineering
Intimate knowledge of audio systems and large-format digital consoles
Lighting Design
Theatrical Lighting, LED Lighting, Lighting for Video Production/Streaming
Video Production
All aspects of capturing editing and rendering event videos to be archived and/or streamed online and to satellite locations
Creative Video Production/Editing for video announcements, sermon series bumpers, and other creative projects
Graphics/Video/Production Software
ProPresenter 6, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, ProTools, ProLogic, Abelton Live etc.
General IT Solutions
Mac/PC Proficient, Video/Teleconferencing Solutions, Network setup, administration & troubleshooting, Gmail and Google Tools/Apps, Church Community Builder
Equipment
General knowledge of Quality Control, Preventative Maintenance and Repair of all Technological Equipment
Communications/Social Media
Web Design, Social Media Algorithms/Best Practices, Search Engine Optimization
