Accounting Clerk

Salem Media, a leading U.S. radio broadcaster, Internet content provider, and magazine and book publisher targeting audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values is searching for an accounting clerk for our internet division in Richmond, VA. This position will work directly with the Staff Accountant and Accounting Manager. Candidate will be responsible for monthly client invoicing, credit card processing, collections and coding of accounts payable invoices. Other duties will include, but not limited to, researching and resolving client billing issues,    reconciling vendor statements, and mailing of invoices/statements to clients.  Individual must be well organized with strong computer skills.  

Requirements

• Accounting Degree is a plus
• 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable and journal entries
• 2-3 years of experience in collections is a plus
• Intermediate Excel skills necessary
• Great Plains experience is a plus
