Salem Media of New York is looking for a Full Time Traffic Manager for our two local radio stations, AM 970 The Answer and AM 570 The Mission. This full time position handles all the commercial scheduling for the two radio stations, creates commercial spot logs, and enters network spot time entry. Other responsibilities include: working closely with the GM to develop systems for effective inventory management and to ensure that commercial inventory is properly reported, optimizing log creation and reconciliation, and identifying sell out areas, high inventory demands and communicating them to sales department. Must be able to work accurately under pressure and be able to meet deadlines. Excellent computer skills are imperative. Experience with WideOrbit traffic software is a plus. Knowledge of other radio station software such as Marketron, Counterpoint, and RCS NexGen is helpful.
