Sales Assistant/Financial Services

Salem Eagle is a rapidly growing investment portfolio subscription company that provides portfolio subscription services to Self-Directed Investors and Independent Financial Advisors.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our sales team in our Washington, D.C. office near the Union Station metro.

Responsibilities:

• Assist sales team with a variety of client account management functions such as newsletters, cancellations, etc.
• Works with new and current clients to build/maintain relationships and work on converting prospects/existing clients into our various account structures
• Helps the sales team and clients with our services while seeking to build understanding and awareness of various client management software
• Become proficient in our company’s investment philosophy, products/services, and learn the financial services business
• Assist sales team further our high quality reputation and relentless commitment to our clients’ needs by providing exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree preferred
• Preferably some basic knowledge of the financial markets and investing principles
• Sales or professional office experience preferred
• Strong organizational/time management and communication skills
• Ability to be a self-starter, work independently and accomplish goals with minimal supervision
• Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
