Director of Local Ministry
Salem Radio in New York is seeking an individual with previous ministry development skills to expand listenership through stronger outreach to our primary Christian Teaching and Talk audience in local church congregations as well as making the local churches aware that WMCA 570 is here to serve and encourage them by honoring local pastors and strengthening our position as the place for Christian information.
The individual will also work in the sales department and will focus on consulting with churches and ministries about advertising or programming time on WMCA and to expand local ministry awareness.
The position includes the development of new ministry programs on WMCA 570 and maintaining relationships with national ministries to increase growth potential Event planning and completion, ability to maintain lists and information on local churches, church visitation, and broadcast program production are also part of this position.
