Job Description:

The Lehigh Conference of Churches seeks an ordained or ordainable clergy person to fill the senior staff position of Ecumenical Director.  The Conference is composed of 140 member churches representing a diversity of theological and ecclesiastical expressions and traditions. The Conference partners with other faith based and social service agencies to serve some 14,000 of our neighbors in meeting hunger, housing, and health needs.  The Ecumenical Director will primarily serve as the bridge builder and relationship ambassador to communicate Conference ministries throughout the local community, including to member and non-member churches.  The incumbent will also advocate for the needs and concerns of churches and employ the advantages of the Conference to help member churches where appropriate.  Duties include distinct responsibilities in leading ecumenical, inter-faith, inter-religious, and justice and advocacy programs.  The incumbent serves with other directors on the senior staff team to guide the overall management and operation of the Conference.  Interested applicants should submit their cover letter and resume by email to:
