Grace’s vision is to be a community of people who are growing in living our lives the way Jesus lived His–In God, with one another, for the world.
We want to be a church where people are warmly welcomed and feel at home quickly, whether you have no church background or have been following Christ your whole life. We know the timeless truths of the scriptures are relevant and applicable to our everyday lives, and they have the power to reshape our lives to make us more like Jesus.
We believe that God’s presence is everywhere, all the time–but our experience of His presence is variable. So we strive to be continually more alert to and aware of His presence. Then, as people who are filled with His Spirit, we desire to bring God’s presence to others through loving friendships and compassionate service and good works in every sphere of our lives–our families, neighborhoods, and workplaces. We call this “Living in His Presence; Being His Presence.”
Our desire that God’s heart for our community, the Baltimore region, and in the international communities in which we serve will be increasingly realized as we tangibly demonstrate His love and goodness to all people, especially the poor, marginalized, and oppressed.
